Annette Wright Dreher was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was educated in the District of Columbia Public Schools System and the Prince George’s County Public Schools System. She graduated from Morgan State University where she received her degree in Education. She furthered her education by attending University of the District of Columbia, Trinity College, Catholic University, Marymount University and Howard University where she received many credentials in Education.
Lady Annette Dreher is a devoted wife to Bishop-Elect Darrell E. Dreher, Sr. She met this amazing man in 1975 when she visited Gospel Ark Temple Bible Way Church where she later joined. In 1976, Lady Dreher accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour and was baptized in Jesus name. After a five year courtship, they married and from this union became the proud parents of three awesome children Darrell Jr, Shevonne and Shanaye. She really enjoys being a mother-in-love to Johnika and grandmother to Darrell III (Tre). From supporting her husband at every preaching and teaching moment, Lady Annette made it her mission to go to all of her childrens’ games and events. She is more than just a mother, she is a friend, confidant, math educator for 33 years, and is the CEO and founder of Dreher’s Tax Service and DNA Travel Service.
On July 2, 2000, she put on yet another hat and became First Lady of Spirit of God Deliverance Church. Her dedication to the church and her members are unwavering. Lady Annette has been an intricate part in ensuring the growth of Spirit of God Deliverance Church. She oversees all meetings with her husband including the construction of our new edifice in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Not only is Lady Annette a woman that you can count on, but most of all she is a woman that loves the Lord! Her goal is to nurture and reinforce the teachings of God’s word.
Lady Annette Dreher is known for her tenacity and strength. In 2017, she became a Breast Cancer Survivor! While going through Chemotherapy and radiation, she persevered and never complained. Her motto has always been, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me and all excuses were nailed to the cross.”
She is truly a woman of God with a sincere heart for God’s people who is always willing to lend a hand!
