Darrell E. Dreher, Sr. is a native of Washington, D.C. He is a man that values family. He was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ in June 1969 and received the Holy Ghost in July, 1971. He was called into ministry in 1990 and preached his initial sermon on January 24, 1993. Darrell Dreher was ordained as Elder in July, 1995. As a Washington D.C. native, he was educated by the District of Columbia Public School System. He attended the University of District of Columbia. In July, 1995, Darrell Dreher earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Apostolic Christian College- Logos College.
Darrell Dreher served in various ministries while a member of Gospel Ark Temple Bible Way Church in Washington D.C.- Men’s Department Chairman, 1991-1993; Young Adult Ministry Pastor, 1993-1996; and Sunday School Department Teacher and Assistant Superintendent, 1992-2000.
On July 2, 2000, Pastor Darrell and Lady Annette Dreher established Spirit of God Deliverance Church. Pastor Dreher is an anointed man of God! He has been commissioned by God to protect and feed the flock by rightly dividing the Word of God with love and nurture. He does this by cultivating, planting, and developing souls.
On October 10, 2019, Bishop Darnell Leach announced that Pastor Dreher will be elevated to the Episcopal Office of Bishop. Bishop-Elect Darrell E. Dreher, Sr was consecrated on July 24, 2021.
Bishop Darrell Dreher has been married to Lady Annette W. since June 26, 1982. They have 3 beautiful children, Darrell Jr., wife Johnika, Shevonne, husband Martell and Shanaye, husband DeWayne and one grandson, Darrell III (Tre).
